Economics is a subject was previously taught under the Department of Diploma in Rural Service Education (D.R.S. Co-operation) later on Department of Economics was separated from D.R.S. Co-operation in 1975 and it was affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Department of Economics has provided number of ideal citizens from various to the society and our Economics Department has achieved popularity among the student.
