Department of English (B. A. B. Ed. Education Faculty) was established in 1975. Mr. Joshi S. N. was the head of the department. Following faculties had worked in this department. Mr. Joshi S. N. Mr. Adavadkar S. S. Mr. Magdum V. H. Mr. Shinde B.A. Dr. Moruskar D. S. Dr. Kumbhar A.D. Now the following faculties are working; Mr. Jadhav D. B. (Head of the Department), Mr. Rajratna S. D. Mr. Medhekar R.Y. Mr. Chitrakar R. A. and Mr. Desai R.J. Department of English have provided numbers of ideal citizens and teachers from various areas to the society and achieved tremendous popularity among the community of the students.

• To increase the wide and vast knowledge of the English among the pupils in the rural areas under the guidelines by the Shivaji University, Kolhapur
• To be acquainted with the aims and objectives of teaching English as a secondary language at the secondary level.
•  To be acquainted with qualities and professional growth of teacher of English and help them acquiring the same.
•  To develop favorable attitude towards English language
•  To inculcate the research culture among the students through project work.
•  To prepare the moral and responsible citizen.
