Shri Mouni Vidyappeth’s Karmaveer Hire College was established in the year 1961 with faculty of Arts, Commerce & Education only. In the year 2007, our college started new faculty of Science on non-grant basis. In year 2009, Government of Maharashtra has sanctioned the grant for science faculty under the scheme of one sciennce college for one tehsil. Initially, when the department was on non-grant basis, the staff members were temporary and the strenght of students was also low. After receiving grant, department has well equipped laboratories with permanent teaching and non-teaching staf. The strenght of students and quality of education increased. The efforts of department are to support the students for teaching, learning and research. 

To impart quality education and focus on research and innovation to cater to the need of the society.

Provide distinctive and relevant education in the chemical sciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
